Endrick Favors Milan as Real Madrid Weigh January Transfer Decision
AC Milan are emerging as a leading destination for Real Madrid forward Endrick, with the Brazilian youngster reportedly open to a move to San Siro in January. The potential transfer, however, depends heavily on whether Real Madrid are willing to let the highly rated attacker leave on loan during the winter window.
Endrick has struggled to find regular playing time this season, making only a brief appearance so far. His hopes of securing a temporary move were previously affected by José Mourinho’s decision, leaving the 19-year-old looking for another opportunity to gain valuable minutes. A loan spell at Lyon earlier in the year had already shown how much more consistent playing time could benefit his development.
Milan have been interested in Endrick since the summer and now appear to have a strong position in the race. Their relationship with Roc Nation, the agency representing the Brazilian forward, and Milan owner Gerry Cardinale could help facilitate negotiations. If Real Madrid approve the move, the Rossoneri are reportedly prepared to offer a six-month loan before considering a more permanent solution in the future.
Financially, Endrick’s salary is not expected to create a major obstacle for Milan. His reported net earnings of around €2.5 million per season, excluding bonuses, are considered manageable by the Italian club. The main issue remains Real Madrid’s willingness to temporarily part ways with a player they still regard as an important long-term prospect.
Milan will nevertheless face competition for Endrick’s signature. Serie A rivals Roma are also interested and could benefit from the influence of Brazilian teammate Wesley, while Aston Villa are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation from the Premier League. With several clubs monitoring his availability, Endrick’s future could become one of the more interesting transfer stories of the January window.
